Recommended route: Guangzhou — Zhaoqing— Deqing— Fengkai— Huaiji— Guangning— Sihui— Zhaoqing. The whole journey is about 500km and takes about three days. Access fees for roads and bridges are about 400 RMB yuan.
Applicable cars: The roads are of good quality. Private cars may go anywhere you want along the corridor. For any particular spots, off-road vehicles might be better. Lists of carry-ons: certificates (ID card, Driving License), medicines (anti-migraine medicine, Gastroenterology medicine, and Bandits), camping instruments (knife, folded chair, barbecue holder, and sports shoes), some clothes, gloves, and emergent car repairing instruments.

Seven Star Crags and Dinghu Mountain are tourist spots that shall not be omitted. But within the county, such spots as Dabanshi, Taoyuan Village, Dragon Mother Temple deserve visiting. If you don’t like crowded area, you may visit newly developed Liandu Drawing Corridor.
Dinghu Mountain is not very high. Except for aged persons, tourist need not take mountain cars. Climbing up the mountain will on the one hand build you body, and on the other hand offers you fresh oxygen without much effort.
Zhaoqing has many temples. In accordance with your own belief, you may worship or not, but should respect others beliefs.
Duan Inkstones are one of the Four Famous Inkstones in China. You may buy one or two for appreciation or as presents for friends.

Never try to escape buying tickets. Believe only certified tourist guides. Don’t dispose of any tickets you bought in case of checking.
Take only necessary articles. Zhaoqing is a well developed tourist spot. You can buy anything you want. Outdoor activities are neither too strenuous nor dangerous.
While passing through forests in Dinghu Primitive Forests, protect the environment, don’t dispose wastes here and there, and don’t pick flowers.
If you get lost, don’t walk without aim. If no help is available, walk down the mountain along the river, you can get out of trouble.
People who goes through forest for the first time had better not to take the walk alone, but with three and fours. Tourists shall be guided by local people if they enter newly developed spots in case they may lose their way.
Prepare such consumables as torch, battery and matches.
Carry some dry foods and drink enough water after sweating. You may drink spring safely because it is not polluted.
Avoid mosquito biting. You may carry some anti-mosquito agents. The dresses shall be comfortable. Don’t wear shorts or leather shoes.

Transportation: Bus from Guangzhou to Zhaoqing every 15 minutes, take off at Dinghu Mount. Direction guide on national highway 321, walk 2 miles to the ticket office.
