Zhaoqing Tourism Bureau is the executive branch of People's government, Administration of Star Lake
1.function and assignment
Implement state and provincial policies, laws, regulations and standards; investigate, draw and implement of city policies and criterions on tourism administration of industry, tourism sites and resorts.
Coordinate with related department to workout the tourism development blue print for long-term and annually; to explore the tourism products and commodities, to investigate and integrate tourism resources, to guide the development plan and construction of key tourism resorts, to draw and implement the construction and development plan of star lake and sever star resort.
Establish the strategy for the development of tourism market, organize the promotion and public activities to upgrade the integral image of zhaoqing city.
Take charge of the examination and approval for the travel agency registration and star hotel evaluation; supervise tourism quality and deal with tourism complaint; optimize the assignment of tourism resources and market.
Manage, guide, supervise, inspect and coordinate the behavior of travel agency, tourism guides, restaurant, resort and shopping spots.
Guide the construction of spiritual civilization and tourism training, evaluate professional qualification assess
Administrate Visa and foreign affairs.
Supervise over the management and construction of star lake and seven star resorts in accordance with the law and make sure the normal management order.
Administrate the government-sponsored institutions directly under the bureau.
Other work assigned by competent authorities of government and Party committee.
2Organization
Based on the above functions and assignment, Zhaoqing Tourism Bureau is partitioned into six functional sections as follows: general officers/ industry administrative office(tourism quality supervising offices )/ marketing / resource planning / personnel administrative office(office of the Party Committee)/ financial management office
